Code Name: Rook (Jameson Force Security, #6) by Sawyer Bennett
This is a great series to follow and read. In fact, this is the best book so far. I really loved the first book Code Name Genesis and now I just loved Cage and Jamie's story. Cage Murdock is a badass operative of the Jameson Force Security and he does not any attachments. He loves his work and is committed to it.
By chance he meets Jamie in a bar and they have a one-night stand, but their chemistry is so great that this one night led to man
y others with one small problem... Cage did not tell Jamie that he is a badass operative and instead he told her that he was a car salesman. Well, as a reader of romance we can see that future is not so bright for Cage...
The story is so well written, they have a great chemistry indeed and the author is wise to let them speak freely and it is really raw in their feelings.
There is action, but mostly is a book about two souls that are so afraid of commit and they end up married! I just loved this book!
A whirlwind romance, an impromptu wedding in Vegas, and one HUGE lie. Happily ever after or over before it begins? This sexy standalone romantic suspense is available now from New York Times Bestselling Author Sawyer Bennett!

About Code Name: Rook:
Being a highly skilled operative for a company like Jameson Force Security is exhilarating and important work…until it comes time to date. I like to keep my profession under wraps for a number of reasons. Some of what we do is top secret, most of what we do is dangerous, and more than one woman has tried to latch onto me because she was more enamored with what I do than who Cage Murdock really is. And since I’m more of a ‘here for the night’ than a ‘here for forever’ kind of guy, what’s the harm in a little white lie about my job?
My harmless deceit has never failed me. Until now. Because I met the most amazing woman and did the unthinkable. I married her. And now my beautiful, unsuspecting, probably-going-to-leave-my-sorry-behind-when-she-finds-out-the-truth wife doesn’t know that I’m not a used car salesman like I told her when we met.
As it typically does with lies, the truth is about to come out in a big way when Jaime unwittingly gets herself mixed up with some unsavory characters and I, along with the team at Jameson, have to intervene. Now I need to save my girl and hope I can save my marriage too. Let’s just say I have some serious explaining to do.
